Rush hour

So finally its weekend..Phew! Spent the first week of my vacation rushing back to KT and then back to Singapore. Then rush down to Sci Dean's office to collect some docs and rush back and forth to the US embassy..tired but finally, all immigration matters to the US were settled =) The US officer is really cool! He approved my visa in less than 3 minutes after interviewing me. Happy! YinFong, LiRen, Lionel, Felix, MeiChing etc...we goona soak up the Cali sun!!!

And I thought about going home today after sending almost 10 resumes to various company with no reply. After packing up, a phone call came from a consultant company. Asked me to go dwn town for an interview..hope I got the job la...being a slacker and doing nothing at home will make me fatz, a potato couch, bored and poor without income. Never and don't like to depend on my parents for $. They have given me too much in life.

The Phantom of the Opera: Whoa...

"Whoa...! Whoo..! OMG!!" are the few words that I managed to utter out in the Esplanade Theater yesterday. I was literally mesmerized by the stage transition, the props, the actors and the oschestra!! Wah it's like watching a movie but in a 3D form...no words can describe the scenario..chio~~ Worth the $$, if you are a big musical/broadway fan ;D! My fav part of the show? It was when the Phantom "kidnapped" Christine away on boat towards his; sort of like dungeon-lookin-home.. yeap row a boat, on a lake, on stage with illuminating candles on the lake, which look damn real... Hope 'Marry Poppins: The Musical' will be in Singapore soon..

What a good way to release all the stress which has been in me for the past few weeks. Molecular Biology paper was tough..it was tough. Don't wanna talk bout it..I coincidently met Daniel outside the theater, said bye to Lina jie, then went for supper with him at Old Pasak. He belanja haha! Was stressed again when he kiasu-ly discussed his answers and I realised I did quite a few mistakes in molecular. Finally, asked him to shut up and eat his satay and stop talking about the stupid paper.

In 12 hours time, I will be snuggling under my blanket, with my bloster on a familiar bedspread. Wahahaha HOME SWEEEEET HOME. And is Daddy's birthday today. Whee family dinner =) Bought him 2 golf T and golf gloves. Dad's a big golf fan. Someday, ahem! when I am financially independent, I will get him the Tiger Woods nike golf clubs.. he's gonna flipped!!Hee~~

And friends from USM, UKM, UM, NTU etc...all back to Kt. HAPPY =)

H.O.L.I.D.A.Y

Ahh.. Labour Day with all the good holiday movies on Channel 5. And is a day where family spend their quality time together. I so MISS my family back home ~_~ When I was younger (I am still young now!) Dad will take the family out for movies, shopping and good food on public holidays.. Those were the moments.

But today, with such a beautiful weather, not that sunny nor rainy which is perfect for an outing with my family/friends, I am pathetically stuck in Blk18, lvl 5 room F in PGP with a stack of Metab and Molecular Bio notes :( What a "perfect" holiday.. On top of that, few of my friends had officially finished their 2nd year and I still got two more days to go ;( And my opposite cluster mate already went back to Penang, the other neighbour backpacked for a vacation, the whole cluster is half empty...arghh i also want my holidaess~~

缘分

About 2 years ago, I came to NUS with four close friends who I've known since I was 13. It was full of anticipation as Jimmy, Jiang and I will be taking Organic Chem together (the anticipation ended quickly after the 3rd lecture due to Mr.LeslieChueng HarrisonFord). We have been in the same class in secondary school and attended the same tuition classes together (I miss Mr.Lim and Mr.Boop!) and it is really exciting to study in the same Uni and attend the same lecture! So, initially there is only four of us in our group, including ApplePing.

Then Jiang told us "Eh, you know got 2 Tun Habab people also coming to NUS le..I know one of them." I was wondering how our school rivals look like,.....then I met them. Due to the spirit of SMKL, I thought I won't be appall meeting these people, but I was so wrong!!

Jiang introduced me to YC. She's apparently Jiang's primary sch mate. The first impression I had was her friendliness and and warmth. And I didn't know that she actually lived less than 300meters away from my house!! Well, I guess it's this thing called "yuen fen" ba! Then YC introduced me to another SMKTH rival, HianLiang. Today, Liang is my XiaoDi, closest buddy and confidante in NUS :D Then the friendship circle expanded exponentially....ahaha~~

So, after all the memories and moments we had, I just wanna say, Yuen Chin, today is the day where we celebrate your warmth, your presence and your goodness. May you have a wonderful wonderful year ahead filled with the love and happiness from your family, your friends (like me!hehe!) and AHEM! him.. ;D

I want freedom~

I just had 10 hours revision for microbiology straight till 5am this morning... hmm maybe is the effect of ginseng+black tea that aunt Irene gave me.. damn, it's so powerful that i had insomnia till 6am! Good for burning the midnight oil during exams. haha. Mum gonna nagnagnag if she knows that my life cycle in NUS is a total wreck.

And i am in jitters now, because there is an essay based paper in 4 hours time. *fingers-crossed*

I HATE exams. Especially exams in NUS. 1 more week to the taste of freedom!!

Hur hur hur.. finally set up a blog of my own. Usually, I would write, rant and doodle in my notebook (erm which is sort of like a diary) but not on a daily basis..
I don't know what suddenly inspire me to create a blog page, but anyways; for convenience sake i don't have to carry my notebook/diary (not the laptop!) whenever i travel to back to kt, to kl, to malacca or to somewhere..almost everywhere have internet connection, it's much easier to wire my thoughts into the omnimious www.

today is my first graded paper-marketing. nothing much to study but i can't seem to get into the business picture. urgh. business modules. never bid for it again.i've tried chemistry mod, nope not my fav kinda subject either. i should have known better =( hope my mediocre answers would please the examiner... =S

now all it is left is LSM modules.. yeah i prefer LSM. its much more..hmm familiar? right, back to my notes and textbook! it's gonna be over soon!!
